Can you offer legal advice?

Unfortunately notaries are legally not allowed to provide legal or immigration advice. Please consult a licensed professional if you need legal or immigration advice.

How long does a notarization take?
The total process can be as short as 5-15 minutes based on the complexity of the document/ ID process, but the average time is ten minutes for a notarization.
How much does it cost?

$15 per signature + travel fee (ranges based on distance)

Can I use a translator?

No, translators cannot be used for notarizations. There must be direct communication between the signer and notary, direct communication can include written communication between the signer and notary in the case the party cannot speak. I can speak vietnamese and perform notaries in vietnamese if needed.

Who has to be present?

All signers of the document must be present of signing. Someone else cannot sign on their behalf. Additionally, in the case you choose to use tier 3 ID, the credible witness(es) must be present as well, so please make arrangements accordingly.

What do I need to bring?

You need to bring an acceptable form of ID which can be found on the services page, the entire document that needs to be notarized (all pages must be present), credible witness(es) if you're using tier 3 ID, form of payment, and most importantly yourself aka the signer!

Note: You will need to know whether your document needs an acknowledgement or jurat in the case it isn't stated in the document. Please consult your attorney prior to the notarization to ensure the correct form is chosen & I will take provide the form that is needed.
